Jake Cortez’s Solo Skateboarding Project: Manual Finesse and Aggressive Scooped Impossibles

Skateboarding continues to capture attention with Jake Cortez’s latest solo project, filmed by his brother Brandon. Known for his smart dress sense and impressive skills, Cortez showcases his manual finesse, aggressive scooped impossibles, and a beautiful fakie flip tailslide shuv. The video highlights Cortez’s talent, reminiscent of Chris Dobstaff and Roman Gonzalez’s styles. Additionally, the video features the re-emergence of skating at the Balboa fountain after years of inactivity.

Additional filming for the project was done by Grant Yansura, Olaf Trevilla, Kyle Geldert, and Brandon Yuenger, while Noah Fayyazuddin contributed with Super-8 footage.
