Nora Vasconcellos and Maité Steenhoudt team up with Adidas to rework two iconic Adidas silhouettes, The Gazelle ADV and Samba ADV into their own styles. For Nora, this is a continuation of the lavender toned stylings her signature line has carried in the past. while for Maité, the Samba ADV marks her first signature model with the three stripes and indeed does it make an impact.

Nora’s Gazelle ADV is delivered up with the muted palette we have come to expect – the shoe features a leather upper and nubuck suede for toecap and heel tab. The Shoe is stamped with “Gilda” and “Nora” in gold foil and features custom art on the insole by Nora herself.

In contrast – Maité’s offers up a Samba adv draped in hairy black suede, feeling intricate white suede detailing in the stitching, stripes and heel tab. Smooth skate friendly suede has been added to the T-Toe and is lined with red suede suggesting that after some wear you might see a whole new side to this shoe. Pulling together everything in the shoe is a semi-translucent insole that features Art by Steenhoudt herself, and a gold foil badge on the tongue.
